Dr. Monika Chugh graduated with honors from All India Institue of Medical Sciences with a Bachelor's in Ophthalmic Sciences. She later earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College Of Optometry, Boston. With over twenty years of practice, she is skilled in managing various eye diseases, including cataracts, diabetes-related eye issues, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other retinal problems. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, she has conducted comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages and is certified in Paragon Corneal Refractive Therapy for myopia control.
A Fremont resident, Dr. Chugh is married and the mother of two children. She is an active Rotarian, nature lover, hiking/yoga enthusiast, Ayurvedic counselor, and domestic violence advocate. She enjoys singing, reading, writing, and coffee. As the author of two books on positivity, her mission is to heal people and provide them with the utmost care through her eye care skills and the power of words.
