Dr. Connie Liang received her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at University of California, Berkeley in 1999. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at UC Berkeley in 2003. During her study there, she completed externships at UCSF, San Francisco VA Medical Center and the Portland VA Medical Center where she gained extensive knowledge in diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. Dr. Liang worked in a premium LASIK/PRK office for five years so she is experienced in qualifying patients for the procedures and with post surgery care.
Dr. Liang is California State licensed, board certified to treat and manage glaucoma, and licensed to use ocular pharmaceutical agents. She is certified to fit the Paragon Corneal Refractive Therapy(Ortho-K) lenses. She has an interest in specialty contact lens fitting and myopia control.
Dr. Liang enjoys seeing patients of all ages. Her goal is to take care of your vision need and your overall eye health. There’s nothing more important than being able to see because that is your window to the world. She is fluent in Cantonese and conversational Mandarin.
When Dr. Liang is not working, she’s home with her three children. They keep her busy with their activities. When she has time she likes to read, do yoga, and take walks.
